Instagram

It looks like it's "share all my social media sites on my blog" week here at dirty south live.  Today I discuss Instagram.  Want to find me?  Then hunt down stephie2cool.  How do you do that you ask?  I have no fucking clue so you're just gonna have to figure it out your own damn self (I'm so polite for being a southern blogger). I might be the last person on earth to get Instagram.  I'm not sure why I waited so long, maybe I didn't want to be a sellout, but whatever the reason I'm on there now... and I'm the biggest sellout there is;)

Anyhoo my instagram feed is on the right side of my blog so feel free to check out all my pics whenever you want.

I'm sure you peepsicles are sick of hearing about Pinterest.  I'm slightly sick of hearing about it as well.  That being said I should go ahead and tell you that I am in love with it. While the social media aspect is cool and seeing what friends and other random people you want to follow is pretty durn nifty, the best thing about it is that I can finally save all my links to random pictures and recipes and not have them stuck on one computer.  You see I have always been an avid bookmarker.  I see interesting decor photos and I bookmark in a home folder.  I see delightfully delicious looking recipes and I bookmark them to a recipe folder (and print them out, but that's neither here nor there). I find kick ass artists so I gots to bookmark them to remember where to find them on the world wide web. See all that leads me to my point.  Before all these bookmarks were being saved on just one computer.  Now I have access to them everywhere and can take over the world.  Insert crazy man laugh here. Anyhoo I wanted to clarify how it works because some folks (bert show) get the wrong idea about it.  These folks think that pinterest is the best of the web.  No really, I've heard people explain it this way.  Well it's not.  There is a whole lot of shit that you have to sift through, but if you use it like I do, to save your favorite images (download there pin it tool), then it will work out well. Plus if you find people that have your same taste you can follow them and be exposed to web sites and pretty pictures and delightful recipes that you would have never found on your own.
